What a Player Should Know
Somewhere in the valley’s long history, someone built the Wrought for a purpose — to guard something, carry something, or fight something — and then that civilization joined the rest of the ruins. The Wrought kept running. Most have drifted a long way from whatever task they were assembled for, and are figuring out, often for the first time, whether they’re allowed to want anything beyond it. Weathered metal and old craftsmanship instead of flesh, but unmistakably a person underneath the plating.
Rules
A species package is one trait and one knack, and rates +1 Power Value — same weight as a creation trait.
Trait — Riveted Frame (passive). +1 Guard, and any Patch on you restores +1 — you are, frankly, repairable in a way flesh never was.
Knack — Reboot (once per run). Rally immediately, out of turn: clear Staggered and refill your Wind. Somewhere inside, an old mechanism remembers what it was built to survive.
