What a Player Should Know
Pucklings live for the bit. The dare, the shiny thing, the deal that sounded fine at the time — ask a Puckling to explain their own plan and they’ll happily talk you through all of it, right up until the part where it goes wrong. They’ve got one foot in feral goblin scrap-culture (found junk, jury-rigged traps, a sharp-toothed grin) and one foot in something older and stranger — small bargains, riddles, glamours that almost work. Nobody trusts a Puckling’s promise. Not even other Pucklings.
Rules
A species package is one trait and one knack, and rates +1 Power Value — same weight as a creation trait.
Trait — The Bit (passive). Your natural 1s never leave you Exposed. Instead, the pratfall is a distraction: the next ally to attack your target gains a Boon. It went wrong on purpose. Obviously.
Knack — Small Bargain (once per encounter). Cancel one Bane on any roll you can see — yours or an ally’s. The fae luck has to come from somewhere; best not to ask where.
