What a Player Should Know

Draxolots are small dragon-kin with soft pastel scales, stubby horns, and frilled gills that flare faintly when something interesting happens nearby. They breathe tiny magical puffs — sparks, bubbles, curls of steam — instead of fire, and they regenerate from injuries that would trouble anyone else, a fact that confuses everybody except the Draxolot in question. What defines them isn’t excitement, it’s calm: whatever’s in front of them, however large or unreasonable, gets sized up with the same flat, patient stare before the Draxolot asks if anyone has a plan yet.

Rules

A species package is one trait and one knack, and rates +1 Power Value — same weight as a creation trait.

Trait — Regenerative Calm (passive). Gain a Boon resisting Shaken, and once per run, when the party rests, you recover 1 Vital. Injuries that would trouble anyone else mostly seem to bore you.

Knack — Puff (once per encounter, no action). A tiny elemental breath: apply one stack of Burn or Slow (choose your breath at creation — sparks, or steam) to an adjacent enemy. Sized up. Handled. Next.
